...jake locker. what an awesome name. yep, its saturday night (S.A.TUR.DAY night!) and we're watching the huskies game. the qb has a name that screams football. i can't help but like him.

...nfp. natural family planning. can't say that we've done a whole lot of research but we took the intro class and are giving it a go. for now, we're trying NOT to have kids. its hard to imagine having another. taco is a full time job (besides our other full time jobs) and it takes both of us to just get him into his car seat.

...family portraits. in our head jala and i want to recreate the family portraits of our youth: in front of a fake library backdrop, in a serious family feud pose wearing our sunday best. all the places offering a free 8x10 seem to have gone casual in the past 20 yrs. rats.

...ferberize me! we're currently trying to let rocco cry out this episode of waking up. it works pretty well for him falling asleep. if he cries at all its only for a couple minutes and then he's down. it doesn't work as well for when he wakes up over the course of the night. double rats.
