who rocks the potty?

woo hooo! taco used the potty for the first time. he spent a couple months cycling through 3 potty books every night so we knew he sort of got the concept. he's been playing w/ his potty for a couple weeks, filling it with various toys but running away at any suggestion of actually using it for its intended purpose. until last night.

just before his bath taco's been peeing on the bathroom floor nearly every night this week. j1 had him sit down on the potty instead and success! all sorts of merriment ensued and we hope tonight is a repeat performance.

i know what i'm thankful for this holiday season.
