...i'd like to be a proponent of natural family planning, not for religious reasons but just about what feels right for my body. i think nfp can be an effective form of birth control but we're just not diligent. after weighing all the options we're resorting to more intrusive measures. i was pretty wigged out about using an iud but the clincher for me is the rising cost of daycare. 3 kids under 5 would hover around $4k a month. woah. one of us would have to stay home but then we'd get screwed on the cost of healthcare. besides the cash flow dilemma, i'm already feeling guilty for the little time i'm getting w/ taco. i feel like i'd be totally shafting the brothers jala if we brought another babe into the mix too early.

whistful solutions in order of actually becoming reality: winning the lottery, universal health care, the grandparents move closer and can watch the babes 1 or 2 days a week.

...why its all moot: huggy's still sleeping w us. i've renamed our bedroom the champagne room.

...the boys were super mario brothers for halloween. my fave part was the super cheesy mustaches j1 drew on them w/ eyeliner. i'm convinced when the boys are older they will reminisce and wonder why we couldnt just go out and buy costumes like the other kids. tough noogies. maybe next year i'll learn to use the sewing machine and the quality will go up a notch. our camera battery was dead so many thanks to vanessa for the photos. so cute.

alternate costumes were ultraman and a skeleton. not sure why but taco loooves washing his hands. now if only we could get him to rock the potty.
